The Global RMS and Analytics Analyst will support on improving and delivering understanding of market/channel dynamics and drivers of growth and enable the delivery of short to long-term growth and profit objectives. This means a thorough understanding of performance data globally across the various markets (financials, shares, category, and segment dynamics) and the drivers of performance.

This role will report to the Global Manager and will be positioned to influence and interact closely with global business functions (Sales, Marketing, Customer Solutions, Finance, Supply Chain, IT) providing clear visibility to how broader groups access and utilize market data & insights to deliver business and cross-functional goals.

Supporting on driving strong relationships with DATA PROVIDERS (for example but not limited to Nielsen/Circana, IWSR, Euromonitor and other global providers).

They will establish themselves as a key component within the team, adding value every day.

A curious mindset to understand global and macro trends and category shifts to help identify key growth opportunities.

Role Responsibilities

  • Explore & manage data from disparate sources to improve visibility and understanding. Deep global business, market consumer, and category understanding to support on near and long-term business decisions.
  • Proficient in collating large amounts of data (Excel, power BI, Business forums, etc.) and presenting key insights.
  • Partnering with Insights to generate market and category prospects that uncover growth opportunities.
  • Creation of tools, assets, and templates in Excel/PowerBI/PowerPoint in line with the BSI Global Standards that can be executed with customers globally.
  • Drive the adoption of the Global Market Tracker and other analytics solutions enabling scaled impact.
  • Be part of the global insights team that represent analytics serving as a thought partner and support developing compelling data-driven insights
  • Serve as the one-stop-shop and source of truth of all global commercial performance and outlook questions within Beam Suntory using vetted information from countries and regions.

Qualifications

  • University degree - BS/BA, Computer Science or equivalent
  • English proficiency - Advanced
  • Prior experience in Category Development / Insight /Data analysis roles – 1-2 years
  • Advance Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI skills
  • Superior Analytical skills and passion for data/numbers
  • Team player who thrives in a high-performing, diverse and inclusive team and works with pace and focus
  • Be able to turn insight into action and present to wider stakeholder group
